Jammu and Kashmir: Terrorists hurled a grenade at the security forces in the Shopian district of South Kashmir on Thursday evening. The vehicle of the security forces was damaged in the attack. All the soldiers are safe. Whereas in Baramulla, North Kashmir, the security forces destroyed a terrorist hideout and recovered 23 grenades.

Joint security forces were conducting a search operation in the Jhandfaran Sheeri area of Baramulla district, during which a terrorist hideout located in a drain was discovered from were 11 hand grenades and 11 UBGL grenades, and one crude grenade was recovered, an official said. The security forces are now finding out which terrorist Tanzeem members had hidden these grenades here.
In the second incident, terrorists attacked the security forces with a grenade at around 7.30 pm in the Shiri police station area of Shopia. Although no one was hurt in the attack, the vehicle of the security forces was slightly damaged. Security forces cordoned off the area and started a search operation. The police registered a case.
